The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) of the US Department of Commerce is an agency of the US government that provides official macroeconomic and industry statistics, primarily reports on the gross domestic product (GDP) of the United States. The United States and its various units: states, cities / towns / municipalities / villages / counties, and metropolitan areas. They also provide information on personal income, corporate earnings, and government spending in their National Income and Product Accounts (NIPA).
