What is VFX
Visual Effects (VFX) are the various processes by which images are completely manipulated and / or created to enhance the images generated from a live action session. The main goal of VFX is to create a very realistic scene or environment on screen that can actually be very expensive to build, impossible to capture, or unreal.
Types of visual effects
VFX will be classified into five different categories:
- Simulation FX – The simulated effects are dynamic, realistic and believable. From particle, fluid, fabric, hair, and crowd simulations, our artists expertly enhance and transform characters, decorations, and environments with compelling effects.
- Animation – Animation is a method in which figures are manipulated to appear as moving images.
- Modeling – Modeling artists create characters, weapons, plants, and animals on a 3D computer.
- Composition – Modeling artists create characters, weapons, plants, and animals on a 3D computer.
- Matte paint – Matte paints are one of the original visual effects techniques used in film making. Originally used in photography, matte paints have evolved from painted glass panels to full 3D digital worlds. A matte painting is often a painted glass panel used to show a landscape or a large piece.
