Non-corporate members
1 – Download the application form from the official AMIE website and fill it out completely. 2 – Attach the required documents duly accredited by FIE / MIE / AMIE as mentioned in the form.
3 – Get your application form signed by the sponsor (s), who is a member of the IEI in the FIE / MIE / AMIE Category.
AMIE is equivalent to B Tech. However, it is a continuing education. It means that AMIE should be pursued by applicants working in the engineering field. When you pass Section A and apply for Section B, you must complete a certificate of commitment to employment that is provided on the form.
AICTE. AICTE has approved eligibility for AMIE Passouts with M.E./M. Technology for teaching jobs.
It is argued that AICTE has not recognized AMIE as a qualification equivalent to BE / B. Tech for teaching position. I understand and declare that AICTE has clarified that the AMIE course is not approved by it.
